The craft

Made entirely
by hand. Every
single piece.

Jaipur blue pottery is unlike anything else in ceramics. It isn't even made from clay — the base is ground quartz stone, glass powder, and natural minerals, shaped entirely by hand and painted freehand using the same technique artisans in Rajasthan have practised for over 200 years.

Every brushstroke is applied by a single craftsperson. No printing, no stamps, no moulds. This is why no two pieces are ever identical — and why, when you hold one, it carries something a mass-produced vase simply cannot.

It is also entirely eco-friendly: natural mineral pigments, no synthetic dyes, low-temperature firing, and a production process that has not changed in centuries because it doesn't need to.

The difference you'll notice

Jaipur blue pottery is available from other sellers. Here's what's different when you buy it from us.

Authenticated, not assumed
Every piece is verified as genuine quartz-based Jaipur pottery — not the cheaper clay-and-paint imitations that have flooded some markets.
Shipped from the UK
No customs delays, no weeks of waiting. We hold stock in the UK so your order arrives in days, not weeks.
The story behind each piece
Every order includes a card detailing the craft, the artisan community, and the 200-year tradition behind what you've just bought.
Curated, not catalogued
We don't list everything we source. We select what's beautiful, what's consistent, and what will still look extraordinary in your home in ten years.
